Marketing Assistant

This position will be responsible for:

  • writing and submitting newsletters and press releases,
  • maintaining Facebook and Twitter pages,
  • selecting, monitoring, and updating keyword marketing campaigns.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • ability to write compelling sales copy,
  • interest in marketing,
  • good oral and written communication skills.

Candidates must:

  • have access to a computer with Internet access and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office), as most of the work is done off site,
  • be comfortable working at home or some other accessible location, and
  • provide for their own transportation to weekly staff meetings (the site is Metro accessible).

This internship is particularly suited for those interested in a career in marketing or communications.
