Reviews Assistant

This position will be responsible for:

  • identifying recently published nonfiction books for review,
  • matching books with reviewers,
  • preparing reviews for publication.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • excellent research skills,
  • interest in political, religious, and/or social issues,
  • good oral and written communication skills.

Candidates must:

  • have access to a computer with Internet access and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office), as most of the work is done offsite,
  • be comfortable working at home or some other accessible location, and
  • provide for their own transportation to weekly staff meetings (site is Metro accessible).

This internship is particularly suited for those interested in a career in book or magazine publishing.
